Product Description

Kidney-shaped tissue expanders are specialized devices designed with a curved, concave form resembling a kidney. This shape makes them particularly useful in specific reconstructive contexts where the natural contours of the body or the defect require a unique pattern of expansion.
It is generally used when the scar is in large area (direct excision or local flap transfer is difficult). The advantages of skin expansion over skin grafts and flaps are the utilization of adjacent skin of similar texture and color, better effect, larger repair area and direct closure of the donor area.
